Among the Kwatami of the Sixes River the bullroarer was a boy's plaything. Little more can be said of a people of whom little more is known: their recorded geography amounts to three town names — sukwe:me at the river mouth, kwatai:me just north of it, kusuilme — and no ceremony of theirs was ever described. The whirled slat belonged to boys.
