Four Dilzini Gaan masks and one Clown mask make a San Carlos masked team: four spirit dancers, and the clown who went ahead of them whirling the bullroarer to announce their coming. Nine wands and the bullroarer stayed with the masks as one set of painted wood and cloth.

Bullroarer kept in one set with four Dilzini Gaan masks, one Clown mask and nine wands, all of painted wood and cloth (Arizona State Museum accession 85-40, acquired 1985).
Function
Kept with the masks and wands of a Gaan team; at San Carlos the clown whirled the bullroarer to announce the masked Gaan dancers, then during the dance.
