Source term: rhombe jouet d'enfant

Coniagui children played with small versions of grown-up things. Among the objects gathered from the Coniagui in 1946 were a child's bow made in imitation of an initiate's bow, a toy model of the transverse flute, a brass whistle copied from a European one, and a child's rhombe. Among the Tenda peoples, to whom the Coniagui belong, the rhombe has a graver life as well: it plays an important part in initiation.
